It might be overheating.
Try turning charging off when you have it plugged in and watching a movie.

The reason I have it plugged in is so i can charge it while watching tv, if i don't then the battery would die an hour into work. and i work 8 hours. i guess you're probably right. if thats the case, its time for a new phone for sure. ftw. hurry evo
