Root, i dont know if you ever found a fix for the signal Icon always showing searching for signal, but i recently installed one of DarkNinja's taskbars onto RootRom and had the problem and found this fixed it:

maybe if you cooked that into WhiteRoot it would fix the problem guys are having.

Also check these numbers out. This is right after a soft reset and killing a few processes i dont need. (I killed S2u2 and ilock [im using manila locker now], ASyncKiller, and ArkSwitch [using the right side task manager instead])
