You want to be careful, some of those files may be logs that can be safely deleted... however, if you delete the pim file, you can say goodbye to your contacts, appointments, and tasks.
That's the PIM.vol file, or IIRC it stands for Personal Information Manager or something alike. But DO NOT delete it.
