You can always set up a virtual machine with 32-Bit XP for flashing with if you are having issues... (I Use VMWare for VMs myself) Other than doing it just because you can, you really shouldn't plan on using Android anytime soon... The high end WM phones are not completely supported yet, and battery life is terrible...
