With Microsoft's history of releasing perfect Operating Systems in round 1 right out of the box, I'd personally wait for everyone else to fix the bugs in the OS before spending money and resources on their software.
I've been an IT Manager in a Windows shop for over 10 years. I never upgrade to their latest OS right away.
