Just wanted to let you know you are not alone! My 16gb card did/does the same exact thing. It went along working fine on the TP and the TP2 and then one day it started locking up the phone so when I tested it without the card, of course, it worked perfectly. Then when I tried to format the card I got the same issue. I suspect it is from taking it out so often. Maybe it scratched it or whatever but it seems to be in the great beyond!

i never take my memory card out tho if i need to put something on it i use the phone as a usb. oh well i was able to save my pictures everything else was backed up on my laptop already. now im shopping for another 16gb best deal i seen was a 16gb microsdhc for 36 bucks on amazon.com its the cheapest ive seen
edit: its a 16gb class 2 card on amazon for 36 bucks
