That is not related to the above it more of capacitive screen(iphone,palm pre, EVO)..the other type is Resistive screen(Touch Pro 2 and most other windows mobile phones)

The Resistive screen is more precise but end being too precise for finger pressing and better with a stylus. The capacitive screen gives the advantage of multi-touch and using your hands better(doesn't work well with gloves sometimes though)

Now AMOLED is OLED..it stands for Active-matrix OLED..TFT is the old LCD tech..OLED is more energy efficient, brighter and etc....
