Tapatalk offers a rebranded version of their app, which lets you brand it for your own site and even release it in the Android Market, which is what XDA did.

1) Its not cheap, we got a quote already

2) The end user doesn't need the Pro version to be able to post to the forums. I think we could charge for the app in the Market if we wanted, but it would probably be free.

3) Without the Pro version, you can only read forums, unless you downloaded a rebranded one for a specific site, like XDA's.

So, I could see the benefit of having this, but we also offer WiForums, which XDA has never really had a mobile site before.
