I don't quite get it either. My brother-in-law & I are both Verizon customers (we are both former Sprint users).

He has a new Droid & I have a TP2. The Droid is perfect for him as he has never owned a smart phone before & has no time to learn how to use Windows Mobile.

I considered buying a Droid also after reading posts like the op claiming "droid blows away WM", but after playing with my BILs phone for a couple weeks I couldn't see any real advantage to it & some definite disadvantages compared to the TP2.

The two major things are that the hardware keyboard sucks in the droid & my SlingMobile app isn't supported. I usually can't wait to buy a new phone (I swap phones a LOT) but right now I think I will be using the TP2 for quite a while.

I see nothing that is available right now that makes me dieing to upgrade. If I could buy a phone with a 1.5 gig processor, a bigger screen than the TP2 & the same KB as the TP2 I would buy it today, but that animal doesn't exist yet.
