Yeah, but not everything has a CAB file for it. In fact most of my apps don't. I even checked the developer's sites too.
Actually you do have the cab files of any software you installed via ActiveSync. Just go to your "C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync" directory and there are folders for each piece of software installed...including the .cab files. Just copy those to your storage card.
