Really strange, I tried the htc wifi router and my laptop doesnt see it, then tried the wmwifirouter and it works great. I like the features of wmwifirouter but $30 is a little spendy. I verified my xp machine looks for both adhoc and access points, but no go with the free htc wifi router.
