I know this thread is old and dead. I just got my touch, and am having the same issue with the 503. I assume it's the OZ network, and nothing else right?
Only reason I asked is because they had troubles getting my data plan to work with a sero on the touch without employee services doing it. They seemed to get the net working for the most part, and now Im wondering if the problem might be related...
Or if it's simply an unreliable server, and this is common.
