One thing they could try is running EPST and clearing out the settings to unlink the old phone number and email address from the phone maybe?..... Wouldn't matter clearing that out either as they are running off the SIM. Although I have a sneaking suspicion it would still catch on the ESN maybe. But the reg edit would be the easier way
