Just curious. From searches I've done, this issue has been beat to hell, but all I ever see is guys saying it's been beat to hell. I can't find the original thread that explained it all....and, whether or not the information is current in light of the same phone with AT&T 3G bands, etc.

Even if I had to flash a Telstra ROM to use the radio, that would be acceptable.
people throw the Telstra HD2 into the mix not because it just has a different radio flash but rather it actually has a completely [PHYSICALLY] different comm chip that supports the AT&T 3G band

the Tmo HD2 cannot be flashed with telstra ROM to enable the band

it's like saying if you can change a FWD to RWD car by only disconnecting the engine and putting it in the trunk, now the info I just said has been gathered by reading a ton of forums since i got my Tmo HD2 last week, I cannot 100% confirm that the telstra device will work with AT&T since i have't personally done it nor in all the reading have come across a person that posted they've actually got the device, they're all just "it's supposed to" statements

also, if you DO get it and it does work on AT&T 3G, then when you go to resell it or give it to someone when the next latest & greatest thing comes out, you'd have to let people know that it won't go on Tmo's 3G
