Well you're absolutely right. And by your logic I have every right to be pissed that my Touch can't even run the videos that came preinstalled on the phone with Windows Media player (again preinstalled on the phone) at more than 5 fps. In fact I had to go to a third party software to fix the deficiencies of the first party software that came with the phone. So yes obviously the hardware is there to handle it, Sprint or HTC themselves can't even use it correctly apparently.
