I would buy both at full retail minus trade in and employee discount, and I can't imagine they will be a big difference in price. The EVO being underpriced at maybe 550-600 and the legend being overpriced at like 450-550.

TP to TP2 is a huge upgrade...may not be spec wise but its a whole different experience. If the EVO has too big screen for you why not the Nexus One? the specs are close and screen is a bit smaller and amoled
or maybe the Galaxy S will come to Sprint :/
