Why would you tell the op to delay the rom cause someone asked for it. The op selected the beta testers. If its a closed beta, he should be careful who he selects to beta them. If its not that big a deal and he did not select carefully, it should be expected 'leaks' are gonna get out.
You can show respect to the op, who might i add is doing an amazing job, without being a di**head.
People need to show a little more respect in my opinion and get off their high horses. Dont know if you remember this, but all of you were noobs at one point or another.
