Yes

Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items tab, then uncheck the 'HTC Sense' box and check the 'Windows Default' box, then reboot.

To enable Sense again, just do the opposite (i.e. uncheck 'Windows Default' and check 'HTC Sense' and reboot)
