-Clear storage after flash
-Soft boot after clear storage
-Install NOTHING

Everything works okay right after you soft boot and have nothing installed.
Then I activesync to my work exchange account and pull over 260 contacts, about 350 calendar entries and have tried just 1 day of mail (50 items), and a dozen tasks. ZERO texts!

After this, the phone is so slow between texts, or in the people tab...sometimes waiting 2 minutes for the phone to wake back up...or sense just never coming back at all and you are stuck with whatever was in the graphics buffer last. Even scrolling through my inbox or contacts is just sluggish all the time.

I've noticed that in taskmanager under the process view, its always either manilla.exe or filesys.exe taking a lot of CPU (70-95%).

Luckily, I used sprite backup under the 6.1 sprint rom, so I have flashed back to 6.1 sprint and restored and have a solid working phone for the week again. I would love to get the 6.5 sprint rom working somehow. Hard to believe that so many people are complaining about this same condition across different threads, but I have not seen any real solutions except to replace sense with some other shell.

Thanks in advance.
This problem has to do with how Sense deals with a large number of contacts. I don't think they took into account that the TP2 is actually a real business phone and users may have more than 50 contacts or emails at one time. If you turn off Sense and use Titanium, the problem disappears completely. I have 650+ contacts on my phone and before syncing it to Exchange server, Sense worked flawlessly. As soon as I did the ActiveSync, I was done. Please email HTC Support as the more of us that do that them more likely they will fix it quickly. Sense is a genuine disappointment.
