Just because Kinoma play doesn't work for you because you are in an area with lousy coverage doesn't mean that this solution won't work for many people. Don't get me wrong I WANT THE FM RADIO. The Kinoma Play is a viable solution for many people. Your solution of throwing a fit and insulting people isn't going to help anyone listen to the radio on their Touch Pro 2.

If you've ever tried to listen to a radio that uses the headphones for an antenna, you would know that unless you're right next to the transmitter tower, you will have fading and drop outs as you move around.

Yes, it costs money. Not all that much for what it does and well worth it in my opinion. If you don't want to pay for it, there are less elegant streaming software solutions that are free.
