Well, with everything seeming to be in working order, I'll be keeping a close watch on my battery. Maybe my background data was enabled and somehow it weirdly sucked the battery nearly dry in 7 hours (i.e., it once pushed a notification that I got an e-mail from Gmail, even tho I know I turned off Push/Sync.).
