the evo wont be out until after the nexus one, bank on that. the nexus is due this summer so the evo will be early fall. they wont release both at the same time.

sprint has said the Evo will launch this summer, and why wouldn't they release them at the same time? 1. the Evo will probably only be made available in markets that have 4G, so non 4G markets with customers looking for the Evo will probably be shown the N1 2. most people are assuming the Evo will come with a hefty price tag so even if they launch at the same time a tiered pricing structure will probably be enough to drive demand on the N1 3. if the current business model on the N1 holds true for sprint, it won't be available in any sprint store anyway so Sprint will likely want a new android device to show off in store

So i don't see why they can't launch them at the same time or at least in close proximity with to each other

Evo's web page shows Summer 2010:

not to contradict you, but why would the evo only be offered in 4G networks? its still a great 3G phone. its like gasing your car. put in mid grade for functioning purposes. dump in premium and unleash the beast. dunno, just wouldn't make sense to me. to pick or choose phone offerings. and where is the info on the N1? only word out there is a tweet from sprint stating N1 coming to sprint. no date or pricing has been released....or am I wrong?
