Just get your picture cut down to the right size (480X800) and then save it as a .png image titled (without the quotes) "welcomehead.192.png"
Then use total commander or resco explorer and dump the image in the \Windows folder (and overwrite the existing one if it asks). Then reboot and you'll see your image as your new spashscreen

Thanks worked perfectly btw for other users dont forget to back up the original welcomehead i also got popdog to work on one maybe his will look different and have the windows symbol on it too
