How can I speed up this damn home screen (MightyROM, 6.5/2.5). It's just so lagged, the rest of Sense works fine but all things come to a halt when I'm on the home screen. The flip clock is pretty choppy and using Co0kie's 1.6.1 mod, I've tried all kinds of combinations of 3x3, 4x4, etc. for the quick links pages, and the slowdown happens whenever I scroll from the flip clock/weather home down to show the quick links page, and also when holding the slider to go through the tabs. (And yep I did use Co0kie's built-in weather on/off).

Perhaps how to disable the weather showing on the home screen period? Without disabling the my location so I can still use it in the Weather tab.
