And then after like, say, 10 seconds, the BT headset goes back to low-power mode/disconnects from the phone.

Is there any way for me to change this back so that "system" sounds come out of the phone's speaker instead of my BT headset? (well, I guess sounds coming thru the BT headset are okay, but only when I'm on a call... Otherwise, I'd rather the TP2 play the audio thru the speaker.)

Go to Bluetooth settings and then to Advanced settings, choose "Audio" and uncheck "Play system sounds on remote hands-free device.

The good thing about it being checked is that, you can play music in the bluetooth headset (mono)!
