That is great information but one little problem; I have pictures associated with the names. I tried your route already but when I import the file back, the pictures are gone. I know I am being painful. Also when I sync to the exchange server it puts the +1 back so I am back to square one.
Why are there no options to disable prefix dialing; like the other ROM. Is this a feature missing in cookie ROM 23XXX or 6.5?

**EDIT**
Just kidding. It can be done in about 15 min in 2010. Possible in 2007, but I can't remember how that works anymore it was so lond ago (Yawns arrogantly) LOL. Here we go:
1. Click File
2. Options
3. Advanced
4. Export
5. Export to a file - Next>
6. Microsoft Excel or Access (choose your weapon - I did Excel) - Next>
7. Select Contacts folder - Next>
8. Choose destination - Next>
9. Finish
Open file in Excel. Insert a column after the phone number column (lets call these A and B). Type this formula in cell B2 = if(A2="","",RIGHT(TRIM(A2), ) and copy that down to cell B401 (or the end of your contacts). Copy column B from B2 down and paste over column A from A2 down. Then in Outlook:
1. Click File
2. Options
3. Advanced
4. Export
5. Import from another program or file - Next>
6. Microsoft Excel - Next>
7. Replace Dups
8. Select Contacts folder - Next>
9. Finish
Yup.
