Try deleting data.img off your sd card, and making sure you have at least 256mb free space before you start up, so it can successfully create a new data store.

It really sounds like you have a RAPH500. I don't know of any way to make a RAPH800 hang right there. You're running off the all-in-one package from the first post, with no change to the startup.txt? I'm baffled.
