Errr... hate to burst your bubble... But if I remember right, I was reading somewhere that the whole "Camera Orientation" concept is going to be included in WM7... They wanted to compete with the iPhone without copying, so they came up with that idea. The idea is that the camera will be operated in a very-low-power state, at extraordinarily low resolution. Just enough for the device to tell when its flipped.
