LMAO, I've been searching for HOURS trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with my Diamond then remembered this site. This thread was on the first page (thanks to DAADAA187 and horndoctor) and what B4U2 posted SOLVED MY PROBLEM...

try this
go to Start\Settings\Connections\USBtoPC uncheck Enable faster data Synchronization.
