Sprint Music downloaded from the Sprint Store works perfectly on my rom.
I recommend that once the download finishes in Opera, you double tap the green download bar and it will add your new track into the HTC Music Tab

You can update from either ROM. The newest official Sprint 6.5 update includes a newer radio which is not included in my rom. If you want the radio update, flash to stock 6.5, and then flash to this rom.
