OK, downloaded and installed the latest ROM 23549. So far so good! THANK YOU so much for providing a version that was new enough to include a fixed alarm clock and other enhancements.

I found a few bugs and some suggestions:
- The up/down hardkeys don't work on the main screen. They work in the start menu but not in CHome. The finger sliding does work so that is a workaround for now.
- The backlight timeout does not work. It's supposed to turn the screen saver on after 10 seconds of inactivity, but stays perpetually bright. If you lock the screen it will work properly but not otherwise.
- Windows Media Player is still slow to load and every few seconds has to buffer the song. I know it's not the media card because in the past I've loaded players like Nitrogen and at times the HTC media player without this same buffering problem.

Suggestions
- Change the start menu to 4 across icons instead of three. The current mode makes the icons look oversized.
- Put HTC media player into the ROM if not able to fix the buffering problem with WMP. I think the latest version that you had in your first ROM worked fairly well.

Question:
- What does Showcase do? I couldn't really figure it out from dinking around.
