Disclaimer - I can only verify this works with Verizon, as I have Verizon. Also, I do not know the specifics of anyone's data plans. This will create a connection to the data services of your provider. If you are unsure about your account then don't try this.

Go here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index....3Gx20.working

Note: I skipped the step on installing PPP since in the latest release PPP networking seems to already be installed.

1. Download the ppp.txt file.

2. Go to LXTerminal.

3. Navigate to the directory where you placed ppp.txt.

4. You will need to know how your access point name (APN) is stored so that you can use it when you type the next command. For verizon it appears to be yournum@vzw3g.com. The username and password are also carrier specific. For verizon it is vzw.

5. Type the command to start a ppp connection like: "bash ppp.txt xxxxxxxxxx@vzw3g.com vzw vzw"

6. Check that the connection is active by typing "ifconfig"

7. I did not edit the DNS servers like it says to on XDA, but that is because I do not know what they are for Verizion.
