I did some more digging.. it looks like the T-Mo ROM will come with a much higher SPL version - 2.01 or thereabouts. And there is currently no HSPL for 2.01 and no way to downgrade. So we have to wait for the 2.01 HSPL to be released before we can start flashing ROMs. I'm not absolutely sure about this though so I could be wrong.
