You might be right, I've never had a proper Android phone to know. All of the builds we work on for porting are rooted by default, kinda essential for us. And WiFi tethering is nice (stinebd just got it working for XDAndroid last night). I'm actually interested in seeing how Hero's Sense UI runs on our Diamond/Raphael HTCs (if the HVGA->VGA thing can be fixed easily), but a little scared of how much streamlining will probably be necessary to make it snappy =/
