That Tips and tricks thread couldn't get any simpler. Not to mention 'your first timers' are going to need to know that stuff sooner or later. Once people stop posting to this thread it will eventually move to the bottom of the pile, then making it not easily accessible and irrelevant. Maybe you should consider making your own one page wiki in comic sans.
