Our pda's have a built in lock feature called "end key" which I copied to

(file explorer)
Windows
Start Menu
Programs

Then I clicked start and added it to the program list. Now I have a simple device lock and works very well. You all have EndKey.exe in your Windows directory, but I also uploaded as well.
I agree, Why isn't there a simple phone lock program that takes advantage of the light sensor on the phone? I like Slide2Unlock except it is a resource hog and isn't stable on any newer ROMs.

  • I would like for the lock to come on anytime the screen goes black
  • Be able to unlock it with a simple slide motion
  • even if I am in a call, unlock the phone and decide to put it back into the case the screen goes black, the phone should be locked again.
  • lock the phone when the screen goes black. No timers, bells, whistles or other memory, battery and processor hogging gimmicks
  • must also disable the hard keys when locked or at least have a menu option to select whether they are locked or not, including the volume keys
Does this exist? I have tried curtain call and it is close except it will not relock the phone while you are in a call if you have unlocked it. I have tried pocket shield and it is less stable on newer and custom ROMs than S2U2.
