I love a good Sprint rep story. Reminds me of when they told me the Instinct I bought off their smart phone list was considered "smartphone-ish." That's how they suckered me into a contract btw: They falsely represented the Instinct as a smartphone, and everytime I'd call in to cancel, they said an update was coming out and to just hang on. Finally, 25 days in, I decided to cancel no matter what they say, and they said I was a few days over the limit. The phone took 7 days to get to me, and in that time my 30 day trial period was being ate up. 30 trial starts at time of purchase, not activation of phone.
**** SPRINT lol. I do not feel bad at all for tethering 5+GB of data each month.
Also, they had a glitch in the system that made me look like my contract was expiring. I ended up getting $150 off a TP2 instead of $75, plus another $50 since the system didn't accept the order the first time around and I had to call in again, then another $200 when the MIR was denied. They credited the MIR directly to my account, then out of nowhere I got a check for $100 so I cashed it.
Sometimes it pays to be with the dumbest company on earth.
