I'm not sure of brands, but i think the 6700 needs one with 3 black rings instead of the normal 2 for stereo headphones This is because the plug is designed for stereo sound and a microphone input. The one you bought from radioshack probably is not designed for a plug with 4 conductors. With this info you should be able to find some that work by searching on the internet, but perhaps someone else will be more helpful with a specific model that they know works.
