I use the free version of DVDFab to rip DVDs to my HD. I choose the Main Movie option to avoid all the previews, ads, warning, and other crap. Once it's on my HD, I use Handbrake to convert it to watch on my TP2. I happen to choose the iPhone preset. You can increase the resolution quite a bit, if you want, but I'm happy with the 480. One note: you do need to set cropping to Custom and make it all zeros. I watch the videos with Windows Media Player Mobile or Album.
