Power it on and take a picture so I can see if the lcd is distorted you probably just cracked the digitizer and that is separate from the lcd (In most ever phone I've seen I used to own a phone repair shop). If you did crack the lcd I probably have one I could get you for 50 bucks (I dont know if that is a good deal just that's what it will cost me so you will have to pay shipping or it will cost me money to get it to you)
If the phone works go the insurance route. Call in be like I need insurance they will call your phone and have you answer THEN put it on there then if you like ran your car over with your phone you should be fine

I can't find a teardown for that phone but if you end up buying that LCD I will make one when I tear it apart.
