Short answer you can.
GSM version - works fine on Sprint TP2 if you have unlocked the radio and have a non-sprint sim card. Won't be able to use cdma data or sms though because the cdma changes in the rootfs have not been added to the gsm one

CDMA version - rootfs specifically modified for cdma. So cdma data and sms work, but no gsm support at the moment.
