30 buks isn't bad, you have to look at what you are getting a new cover painted the way you wanted and with a stylus. And the main thing the time that you spend working on it.
Ive done the reset hole on a the stock verizon case and the extended seidio case i used a 1/16 to start then a 5/64 and then a 3/32 just a bit not all the way threw, only to give it a slight beveled edge.
i also did it by hand, no power tools that way you have more control of the bit and so the case doesn't crack.
i'm picky when doing things like this i was a finish carpenter for a while. this took about 5 min to do in all
