OK, I didn't get that out of your message the first time I read it. But I do see it now.

I'm just now trying dynamic page pools. The theory, of course, is that the OS grabs a lot of RAM for the PP. Then (1) if you don't have many apps loaded, they run very fast, and (2) when you do have a lot of apps open, it shrinks the PP. I'm wondering how well that works - any thoughts? I may experiment today .
