It used to get ridiculously hot... Just sitting there, supposedly sleeping. It doesn't seem to get too hot for me unless I'm using wifi or using it for a long period of time at once.

It's an ongoing battle they're fighting with power management. I'm sure it'll get better with newer releases, but it may *never* be as good as the native OS for this phone. It could be better in theory, but power management is not something that companies like to talk about, and obviously a lot of power management is software based.

I'll be happy if they get the gauge to be more predictable, but a lot of what the devs are doing is trial-and-error with thousands of lines of code across hundreds if not thousands of files. The full Android source I heard was just shy of 10gb - of text. So what the devs are doing is nothing short of a miracle, and very impressive indeed. So if you do have anything to donate, please give it to them - they are working hard, without expecting anything in return.
