Let me guess, you're trying to make a shortcut to 'Settings' or an app like Astro, right?
When you click and hold on the screen to add a shortcut, try not clicking a program in that first list that shows up (doing this will usually open that program itself so that you can use it select whatever it is
inside that app you want to make a shortcut for). Instead. click 'Applications' FIRST,
then select the app you're trying to post on the homepage
