looking at PP4 vs mobile shell, i tried both, and like mobile shell more, however i only use if for the "top bar" of my today screen so i have a nice big battery gauge, and WeatherPanel in it's own auto-hide screen and when not being used it doesn't kick up a scroll bar.
i gave up on S2U2 (never tried anything after .86) due to battery suckage... perhaps I'll give the new version a shot, now i just lock the screen before power off so I don't keep turning it on in my pocket and auto-dialing half my contact list (most of whom i haven't talked to in years!)
