Tethering will *not* be an issue so long as you get your phone SIM Unlocked and switch to local SIM.

thanks. sounds like h3g for me, as i am going to france too, and they are orange dominated. not worried about calling na. and i am on sprint, so i am world sim unlocked. someone remembered the op =D>
