Since you're not using the drop down taskbar notification anymore, would you mind cooking this in:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505904. I use this one and love it. But installing it is a pita, cause the cab doesn't work, I have to extract the reg, and files and install manually.
Also, did you get a chance to look into the menu that causes the hang? I asked about it on
4280 but think it was missed in all the reset of the posts.
