Well, I ran the cooked in Provisioning app. After running that and allowing for the restart to happen, I installed Mr. X's PRL update cab. I restart and run "Update Profile" and also "Update PRL".
I'm not saying you have to do the PRL update/profile update, but I always do it just in case, but I'm certain you have to run the cooked in provisioning or install the Mr. X sprint provisioning cab itself.
edit: certain meaning to get MMS to work without doing any manual registry edits or without having to install additional cabs
