I don't think at all the Touch is a crappy phone. In fact it's the best PPC phone I've had (and I've used many over the years). This just may be a bug like any other smartphone or PPC phone may have. I mean, at least I could run everything else, make calls, do a lot of other things on the phone. Just that all of the stuff on the SD card won't work when this happens.
HOWEVER...in light of what just happened to me this time around, I'm one to think that perhaps these missing files and folders on the SD card haven't been deleted or corrupted. Rather, something's happened at the root level of the card that prevents all previously placed folders and files to cease being visible/accessible and the "gibberish" folders are perhaps confused references to certain parts of the "missing" files and folders. This may not be as volatile a situation as it appears to be.
Anyone have any thoughts about this development of mine?
